the recent write-up on saturday straits times is making me upset...the starting pay for the class of 2007 is actually higher than my current pay...what the hell...salary may be a poor motivator when it comes to work but having a satisfactory one will definitely reduce monday blues... I went for the Jacky Cheung concert last Sat and it was really fantastic. He really lived up to the reputation of being 'Ge Shen'. But he has too many classic hits, to the extent that he has no time to sing all. Really regretted not buying the Cat 1 tickets, the atmosphere is definitely better there and i can be a silly fan for once. I really enjoyed myself that night and am contemplating whether to go HK to watch the concert again. May be exaggerating to go all the way to HK to catch a concert but it would be quite an experience to be able to catch a concert at the HK coliseum. We need some form of excitement in our life every now and then, especially when my working life is so bland.... that brings me back to my quarter life crisis...i'm seriously suffering from it...but i feel bad looking for a new job when a new project is coming up...on the other hand, quoting from my friends - 'Work is neverending, there isn't a good time to resign' and 'XXX will not collapse because you left'...i guess they are right...after all, they have already left...haha...perhaps those are just excuses not to get out of my comfort zone...i recently attended this course that encouraged us to get out of our comfort zone and reach for the star...so motivating that i putting it into action now...haha...
